Paul and the team at Arthur Gresty were outstanding. Our Mum died back in November and with no plans for her funeral, the task ahead was intimidating. The pressure you feel to organise the perfect funeral is frightening, and for us, it was our Mum’s funeral. A woman who dedicated her life to us - she deserved the best. Well I can say without any hesitation, Arthur Gresty delivered the best. Me and my sisters genuinely wouldn’t have changed a thing. From the respectful handling and care of our Mum at the Funeral Home, to the professionalism on the day of the service. Paul and the team were incredible, and whilst it was only for a few weeks, Paul became apart of the family and carried our Mum with us down the aisle.

Our Mum was an Artist and so we knew we had to create something special. Paul was so welcoming of any crazy ideas we had. We decorated the coffin, did our Mum’s own makeup and Paul helped us source Vale Royal Crematorium. The Canvas wall at Vale Royal made the Funeral feel more like a piece of ‘performance art’!! What a send off! The whole experience was so personalised and that’s important. You want to feel like you’re in control of your love one’s final show and Paul didn’t let anything stand in our way. He was as determined as we were to get this right. Thank you Paul.

Like many of the other reviews on here, it’s hard to put into words how grateful we are - but for what’s it’s worth, from Cleo, Felix and Darcy, thank you. Not just for the Funeral, but for being there for us.

The whole team were amazing, friendly, compassionate and helpful. Anthony in particular was outstanding and made the whole process much easier with his care, empathy and attention to detail.

I was so happy with the service from here and I knew my husband was very well looked after , steph and her steph went above and beyond to keep my husband Denis comfortable, and I would love to say a big thank you to steph as she kept me from breaking knowing my husband was in safe hands , I would recommend anyone who has lost a partner or any siblings to go to them , I promise you they are the best , thankyou Stephanie and all your staff you made me feel at ease, I could go on and on I have so much trust in grestys and I thank you all again xxx ❤️💕❤️🙏

When my dad died he had a funeral plan with Gresty’s on woodhouse lane everyone was so nice especially Steph she was so kind and helpful she really was . On the day off the funeral everything was done and I didn’t have to worry about anything they made sure everything went smoothly and it did

I honestly can’t put into words how grateful I am for Steph and everyone at Wythenshawe Funeral Services. Last October, Steph looked after my nan, and she made what I thought would be one of the hardest days of my life feel calm, gentle, and full of love.

It was my first time ever visiting someone in the chapel of rest, and I was so nervous — I didn’t know what to expect, and I was scared of how I’d feel. But from the moment I walked in, Steph was amazing. She spoke to me so kindly and reassured me that everything would be okay. She told me to take my time, not to rush, and that meant more than she’ll ever know.

When I finally went in to see my nan, I just stood there in awe. She looked so peaceful, so beautiful, like she was simply resting. I could tell that Steph had taken such gentle care of her — every little detail was perfect. It brought me so much comfort to see her like that, and it’s something I’ll carry with me forever.

Steph turned something I was dreading into something I’ll always be thankful for. She made it a moment of peace instead of pain. I’ll never forget her kindness, her patience, and the way she made me feel truly looked after during such an emotional time.

I would sincerely like to thank everyone for their brilliant service when my mum passed in April. We couldn't have chosen a better company. The staff were so helpful and were always there to help if we had any questions. Steph was amazing, she is so caring and goes above and beyond to help with anything. Thank you all again. X

I can't express how thankful me and my family are for Steph in helping us with all the arrangements for my mum's funeral. Steph went above and beyond for us and made a very difficult time that bit more bearable. The care and compassion she shown us as a family we knew we had chosen the right person to look after our mum.
